At last night's Support Worker's Action Network meeting we agreed, amongst other things, to have a stall outside the Council Chambers this Tuesday and Wednesday.
The intention of this is to maintain pressure on the Council ahead of Thursday's crucial meeting where the decision on the tendering process will be made.
On the stall we will be handing out leaflets and asking people to sign the petition that will be submitted to Thursday's meeting.
It will be running from 12-6pm on Tuesday and Wednesday.
We are hoping to have at least two people at a time and are asking people to volunteer for 3hr slots.
Please reply to this email and let us know your name and number if you can manage any of the following slots;
Tuesday 17th Nov 12-3pm 3-6pm
Wednesday 18th Nov 12-3pm 3-6pm
If you can only made a shorter slot, thats fine - just let us know.
And please remember, we need as many people as possible to come along to the Council meeting on Thursday. Meet from 9am outside the City Chambers on the High Street.
